Philosophy

My approach to psychotherapy is grounded in the belief that change occurs through emotional experiences and that our relationships and past experiences influence our current circumstances. Through the therapeutic process, I work to help individuals develop more flexible coping skills, gain insight into themselves, deepen their understanding about past and current relationships, and enhance their capacity for connection and self-compassion.  It is this important work that ultimately enables you to discover a way of being in the world that offers relief, a greater sense of freedom, and healing.
